Q: What is the Clusters SIG?
The clusters SIG is a forum for developers to address general Linux clusters issues. The issues will vary as time goes on, but the objective is to reduce redundant developement efforts and to accelerate the use of Linux-based clusters.
Q: Why is a Clusters SIG needed?
A clusters SIG is needed because no such forum currently exists to pull clusters developers together across project lines. No common kernel components will ever be mainlined unless there is agreement in the clusters community.
